Carnival to build in Barcelona

AN agreement between Carnival Corp and the Port of Barcelona will see the construction of a super-size cruise terminal by 2016. The 1,000 square metre terminal is designed to handle post-Panamax sized ships that carry 4,500 passengers. Carnival’s other terminal on the same wharf in Barcelona - the fourth-busiest cruise port in the world - will also be expanded.
