Coral Expeditions’ Asia itineraries have had a very warm reception since their launch into market earlier this year. Feedback from guests has focused on the sailings’ appeal to exploring parts of South East Asia that are only accessible by small ship.
The new Coral Expeditions itineraries will chart the diverse coastlines of Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Highlights of the program include 12 nights Singapore to Yangon (or v.v.), 12 nights Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and 17 nights Singapore to Darwin, with pricing from $13,595 per person. (Price quoted is Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi)
72 passenger flagship Coral Discoverer will undergo a significant multi-million dollar refurbishment, resulting in a new level of accommodation – Bridge Deck Balcony Staterooms – the first on any Coral Expeditions vessel. They feature indoor-outdoor living spaces with private balconies opening out from French doors.
The remaining staterooms will receive full upgrades to bathrooms and stateroom interiors. There also will be a new Sun Deck circular bar-lounge, undercover alfresco dining area, outdoor chairs and exercise equipment. House wine and beer at meal times are included in the cruise fare, as are off shore excursions and ground transportation.
Group General Manager Mark Fifield said: “We are delighted with the response to our new cruising itineraries. Keeping with the company’s highly-personalised style, activities and off-shore excursions are suitable for guests of all ages and fitness levels, and slower-paced alternatives are included. Returning guests can expect the company’s long-standing Australian crew onboard.”
He added: “We are delighted to confirm that Coral Discoverer will be returning to Asia for the 2017/18 season so guests that want to experience this inaugural season have a limited booking window to secure the remaining staterooms on our beautifully refurbished vessel.”
