Holland America Line has released its Alaska and Europe sailing schedule for May 2017 to April 2018 – a season that marks the 70th year of showing guests the marvels of Alaska and the Yukon.
It was in fact the first cruise line to explore Alaska, and Holland America Line is still pioneering new ways for its guests to delve deeper into what it calls the Great Land.
Next season, six of Holland America Line’s elegant mid-sized ships will guide guests through the celebrated Inside Passage, on more Glacier Bay National Park visits than any other cruise line, and through the vast, spectacular interior.
Guests can choose between classic 7- or 14-night cruises along the glacier-carved coast, or opt for one of the Land+Sea Journeys combining a 3-, 4- or 7-night cruise with an exploration of the Yukon and Denali by luxury railcar and coach. These itineraries combine the Great Land’s must-see highlights with its seldom seen and off-the-beaten path wonders like Dawson City, Whitehorse, Talkeetna, Alyeska, Seward, Homer, Kodiak and more. From $1,399 AUD person for a 7-day cruise.
Itineraries include up to three nights at the 60-acre McKinley Chalet Resort which features Denali Square, a new gathering area to relax, shop, dine and enjoy music and entertainment. Denali Square’s facilities are designed for maximum relaxation and connection including its own amphitheatre for ranger talks and music performances, local artisans’ studios, a restaurant, bar and dinner theatre, and outdoor fire circles.
“Those wanting to cruise Alaska can be assured of no better line than Holland America and we’re proud to have been leading the way for 70 years,” said Tony Archbold, Director of Sales for Holland America Line in Australia and New Zealand. “We’re also offering new itineraries to cruise Europe, our home for more than 140 years, and see the old world anew in the classic grace Holland America Line is renowned for.”
For 2017, Holland America has dedicated seven ships to Europe and the Mediterranean. Cruises range from the Baltic to Bordeaux, from the Black Sea to Greenland and include more capacity to the popular British Isles. Choose from 7- night sailings to Collectors’ Voyages from 14- to 36-nights that explore a myriad of countries around the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
