Queenstown cruiser launched

Southern Discoveries has this week begun carrying passengers on sightseeing cruises on New Zealand’s Lake Wakatipu using its brand new Spirit of Queenstown catamaran. The vessel will operate four departures daily during the summer season to Milford Sound and nearby highlights with capacity for 150 pax per sailing across three outside decks and large indoor seating areas with big picture windows. Spirit of Queenstown was built in Australia before making the trip across the Tasman via Invercargill in the last week of Jul (CW 01 Aug).
