Hobart terminal welcomes first ship

Tasports' brand new Macquarie Wharf last night received its first visitors since its $7 million revamp as a multi-purpose facility. Cruise Weekly was aboard Princess Cruises’ Sea Princess as it pulled into the squeaky clean Macquarie Wharf No 2 cruise ship and Antarctic and Southern Ocean logistics terminal around 9pm last night. After staying overnight, passengers were officially welcomed this morning with a celebration of live music and drinks for almost 1,900 passengers.
