NZ$56m Lyttelton berth

A new NZ$56m cruise ship berth capable of hosting the world's largest cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas, will be built in Lyttelton, close to Christchurch. Lyttelton has been unable to host cruise ships for the last few years and ships have instead been berthing in Akaroa.
