IT took more than 61,000 man hours to
create but it is finally finished, Abu Dhabi’s
Volvo Ocean Race Destination Village.
Set to host two weeks worth of activities as
part of the third leg stopover of the Volvo
Ocean Race between 31 December 2011 and
14 January 2012, the Destination Village will
be open free of charge to the public and
features seven permanent yacht pontoons to
give spectators up-close access to the Volvo
Ocean Race fleet.
