STRONG headwinds delayed the arrival of
Pacific Jewel into Sydney Harbour by around
two and a half hours last Wednesday.
Due to leave Sydney at 4pm, a “technical
issue” also impeded Jewel’s departure from
the port to Noumea, until after midnight.
Despite the disruption P&O said Jewel was
able to pick up time, and arrived in Noumea
within minutes of her expected arrival time.
