Crystal Cruises has introduced a
new pricing policy which
guarantees the best prices for
those who book first.
GENEROUS discounts are on offer – but every
sixty days the voyage pricing is reviewed, and
the discounts reduced on popular trips.
The arrangements were detailed this week in
Sydney, during a visit by the cruise line’s
Vice President of International Sales,
Philip Ordever.
He said the next pricing review of the
“Book Now” fares will take place on 01
November, and indications are that at this
stage fares on about 21 of Crystal’s 2012
cruises will increase due to demand.
Australasia is very much in focus for
Crystal, with Ordever confirming that
Australia is now the second biggest source
market for the cruise line after the USA.
That’s also reflected in upcoming itineraries –
particularly the 13-night New Year’s cruise
onboard Crystal Serenity which will see the
luxury ship spend two nights in Sydney
Harbour so that guests can enjoy the city’s
famous 31 Dec fireworks display – all part of a
13-night Auckland-Melbourne voyage.
Other upcoming innovations for Crystal
include a 2013 return to Antarctica by Crystal
Serenity, one of the only medium-sized ships
which has been modified to use the new ecofriendlier
fuel now mandated for polar voyages.
Crystal Cruises operates a fleet of two
boutique vessels – Crystal Symphony and
Crystal Serenity, which have repeatedly been
rated among the best in the world by readers
of US magazine Conde Nast Traveler.
And next year’s Crystal Cruises will offer
great value, with the cruise line for the first
time introducing “all-inclusive” fares which
allow passengers unlimited Champagne, fine
wines and premium spirits, in addition to free
access to all of the onboard restaurants which
include the upmarket Silk Road by Nobu.
