Viking Cruises has sold most of their much anticipated Ocean 2015 itineraries on the beautiful Viking Star. These itineraries cover The Baltic, The East and West Mediterranean as well as the Norwegian fjords. Following this success, Viking announced the building of two additional ships, Viking Sea and Viking Sky, to meet this overwhelming demand for Vikings entrée into ocean cruising.
Viking has reinvented the nature of the ocean cruising by custom designed itineraries to enable more time in port so you can really explore – whether you are experiencing excursions that bring history and culture to life or discovering off-the-beaten-path adventures that enrich your journey.
On Viking Star, Viking Sea and Viking Sky, you can expand your horizons with like-minded explorers on state-of-the-art ships. Each is designed with a comfortable intimacy to encourage lifelong friendships and an ease of discovery that larger ships simply cannot offer. Thus by journey’s end, you feel more connected – to your fellow travellers and to your destinations.
“As we usher in a new era in ocean cruising, the launch of Viking Star in Bergen, Norway in May next year will represent a distinct change in ocean cruising. Light, intimate and elegant, this new all-veranda ship with a capacity of 930 Guests offers amenities and services on board that will yet again impress and delight discerning travellers,” says Teresia Fors, Managing Director of Viking River Cruises, Australia and New Zealand.
