Princess Cruises has earned top honours for the second consecutive year for its worldwide cruise itineraries in Cruise Critic’s 7th Annual Editors’ Picks Awards. Hand-picked by Cruise Critic’s US editorial staff, the award particularly cites Princess’ Alaska cruises and other notable destinations around the globe that inspire guests to cruise with Princess.
“Offering our guests enriching cruise holiday experiences where they can discover new places and learn about other cultures around the world has long been a Princess hallmark, so it’s wonderful to have our itineraries recognised by experts in the field,” Princess Cruises President Jan Swartz said.
Cruise Critic editors said: “In addition to its battery of standard Caribbean, Canada/New England and Europe sailings, Princess is known for offering standout Alaska voyages. Throw in bucket-list destinations like the Panama Canal, Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti, as well as world cruises that last more than 100 days, and you’ll understand why Princess takes 2014’s top honours for itineraries.”
Cruise Critic’s UK editors also voted the line “Best for Romance,” citing the line’s intimate balcony dining, popping the question with a proposal video using the Movies Under the Stars outdoor movie screen and the new online honeymoon registry as a great way for couples to fill their cruise holiday with romance.
Princess Cruises sails to six continents, offering voyages ranging from three to 111 days, to more than 300 cruise destinations. Approximately 150 itinerary options take passengers on cruises to Africa, Alaska, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Canada and New England, the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, India, Japan, Mexico, the Panama Canal, South America, the South Pacific, Tahiti and French Polynesia and around the world.
