LOCAL beers and wines in restaurants and
bars are just some of the surprises that await
guests booked onboard Radiance of the Seas
during her stay in Australian waters which
kicks-off in October this year.
The largest ship based in the region over the
2011/12 summer cruise season, Radiance’s
recent makeover in May also sees her sporting
a new massive outdoor LED video screen
overlooking the main pool area; technology
enhancements including Wi-Fi availability
throughout the ship and flat-panel interactive
televisions in all staterooms; and the Englishstyled
Quill & Compass Pub.
“We have learned a great deal about our
Australian guests over the last four years,” said
John Rae, Rhapsody of the Seas’ Hotel Director.
“We’ve perfected our onboard product by
understanding the likes and dislikes of our
local guests – from their food preferences, to
activities, and even a preference for game
shows – and over the last six months we have
been sharing this experience with the crew
onboard Radiance of the Seas,” Rae added.
