MSC Cruises, the Swiss-based world’s largest privately-owned cruise line, announced today the opening of sales of its first-ever World Cruise.
MSC Magnifica will offer a unique 119 day cruise itinerary, showcasing 49 unique destinations across six continents.
The MSC World Cruise features the industry’s largest and modern ship to offer this type of extended voyage. MSC Magnifica will depart from Genoa on 5th January 2019, and complete her around-the-world voyage back in Genoa 119 days later.

Throughout the 119 day globetrotting voyage, guests will visit some of the most historic ports, bustling cosmopolitan cities and remote exotic island paradises around the world. The MSC World Cruise will allow all kinds of travellers to experience the world like never before.
MSC Cruises has hand-selected 49 coveted destinations around the world. Guests will have the chance to cross both the Panama and Suez Canals, through the Caribbean, Colombia, and Aruba then onto the America’s with stops in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco before heading to Hawaii. Guests will then explore Archipelagos of Tonga and Samoa and pristine waters of Bora Bora and Fiji, before enjoying the delights on board MSC Magnifica. The excitement will grow as she sails into New Zealand for its maiden visit exploring the Bay of Islands and Auckland before cruising across to Australia with visits to iconic cities Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle. From Australia the cruise will head into Asia covering Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and an overnight in the stunning islands of the Maldives. Then onto the Emirates before transiting the Suez and heading back to the Mediterranean.

Prices start from AU$18,999pp (NZ$21,379pp) inside cabins and balcony cabins from AU$27,999pp (NZ$31,499pp) twin share.
