ATHENA’S ninth season in Australian waters
will commence on 12 November 2012 with an
epic 36-night voyage from France and Italy,
which includes maiden calls to ports in Albania
and Montenegro.
Carrying a maximum of 580-guests Athena
will depart Marseille (France) on 12 November,
cruising into Rome two days later where she
will pick up more guests before making her
way to Perth via ports including Livorno (Italy),
Kotor (Montenegro), Durres (Albania),
Dubrovnik (Croatia), Port Said (Egypt), Salalah
(Oman), Penang (Malaysia), Kuala Lumpur
(Malaysia) and Singapore.
“Other international cruise lines may offer a
cruise sector from Europe to Australia as part
of longer, round-the-world voyages but Athena
is the only ship to offer a dedicated, selfcontained
and traditional line voyage between
the two continents, with Australian dollars as
the onboard currency,” said Classic
International Cruises MD, Grant Hunter.
The voyage is priced from $5,795pp/ts from
Marseille, or $5,475pp/ts from Rome.
