SMALL ship expedition company Secret Atlas is welcoming a new member to its fleet the new Vikingfjord (render pictured).
The new ice-strengthened ship can host 12 guests in nine en suite cabins, and is powered by a modern, fuel-efficient engine, which is able to achieve a 95% reduction in nitric oxide emissions.
Sailing in May, guests can join Vikingfjord on one of Secret Atlas’ micro-cruises, photo tours, or a private expedition in Svalbard.
Vikingfjord features an open-plan saloon with rear-facing windows, a hot tub, and a sauna.
There is also a large guest area with lounge, dining, and seating located at the stern.
The space is equipped with a television for presentations, a minibar, and hot drink service.
She is equipped with two Zodiac landing crafts for shore landings, and is fully staffed with expedition leaders.
Guests can enjoy an observation lounge area, and prepare for their expeditions in a large mudroom and storage space for skis and equipment.
