Experiences are tailored to intimate groups of two-25 guests, with time for off-the-beaten-path encounters at a slower pace.
Nature enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the beauty of Virgin Gorda, from the unique rock formations at The Baths National Park to the panoramic views at Gorda Peak National Park.
In Curacao, guests can participate in a U-boat submarine experience which explores coral-crusted shipwrecks and their accompanying parade of sea life at depths of around 200 metres.
Samana offers an ecological adventure in Los Haitises National Park, giving guests the chance to explore caves and mangroves.
The Authentic Samana Cigar and Casa Tipica tour offers insights into cigar-making and an opportunity to sample local cuisine.
Travellers to Guadeloupe can dive into Reserve Cousteau, home to an incredible array of aquatic life, vivid coral reefs, and ancient shipwrecks resting on the ocean floor.
Following the strong demand for Explora’s Caribbean sailings, the cruise line has extended its 2024-2025 Caribbean season, meaning Explora I will now sail in the region from Oct 2024 to Apr 2025.
Meanwhile, Explora has also announced the upcoming sailings in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe for Explora I.
The ship’s summer 2024 season begins on 18 May 2024 with a transatlantic crossing from Miami to Lisbon.
The unique collection of journeys will offer a blend of renowned destinations and off-the-beaten-path ports, featuring eight Mediterranean and four Northern European journeys.
Highlight destinations include Saint-Tropez, Kuadasi, Santorini, Paphos, Svalbard, Honningsvag, Fiskardo, Katapola, Agios Nikolaos, Iceland and Greenland.
