THE GROWING POPULARITY OF CRUISE HOLIDAYS
should never be underestimated, if the
statistics of Hurtigruten’s latest 134-hour
non-stop live cruise broadcast stunt are
anything to go by (CW 28 June).
The broadcast showed viewers 134 hours
of live footage from onboard a Hurtigruten
Norwegian coastal cruise, and was watched
by people in 148 countries, 3 million of
which were from Norway alone (around 3/4
of the nation’s entire population).
