FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ITS HISTORY CELEBRITY
cruises will base a vessel, Celebrity
Millennium, in Asian waters during the
northern winter 2012-13.
According to the cruise line the move is in
response to customer demand, and will see
Millennium offer eight 14-night voyages
between two home ports: Hong Kong and
Singapore, and calling into Singapore,
Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Halong Bay;
as well as two 14-night roundtrip sailings
from Singapore with overnight calls in Bali.
The season will be bookended by two
transpacific voyages.
In April 2013 Millennium will reposition
from Hong Kong to Shanghai on a cruise
with overnights in Hong Kong and Beijing.
Millennium will then continue eastbound to
Alaska via ports in China, Japan and Russia.
