Australia’s newest, largest and most innovative cruise ship, Explorer of the Seas, is counting down to her arrival in Australia for the very first time. To celebrate her maiden season in just over two months, Royal Caribbean has launched a bonus onboard credit offer of USD$100 per stateroom.
Explorer of the Seas’ first ever Australian cruise will allow guests to take part in the historic meeting with twin sister and Aussie favourite, Voyager of the Seas, in Sydney Harbour on Saturday 28 November 2015. Departing Perth on 13 November and sailing for 16 nights around southern Australia and the South Island of New Zealand, the sailing arrives in Sydney for a remarkable harbour rendezvous with Voyager of the Seas, together the largest and most modern ships sailing in the Southern Hemisphere. Fares start from $1,499 per person and include Royal’s bonus US$100 onboard credit to celebrate the arrival of Australia’s newest ship.
Also on offer is Explorer of the Seas’ maiden voyage to Australia as she repositions over 10 nights from Singapore. She is now jam-packed with a host of new features to match her popular twin sister Voyager of the Seas, including a FlowRider surf machine, three new specialty restaurants, two new bars, new stateroom categories including industry-first interior Virtual Balcony staterooms with real time sights of the sea and new Panoramic staterooms with floor-to-ceiling wrap-around windows, as well as a complete refresh of all the public spaces and staterooms onboard.
Explorer of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas both boast signature Royal Caribbean features including the iconic ice-skating rink, rock climbing wall, a full-size basketball and sports court, and the Royal Promenade – an interior boulevard that runs nearly the length of the ship flanked by restaurants, lounges and boutiques where spectacular parades and evening dance parties are held.
“At Royal Caribbean we believe in living life big, and can’t wait to welcome Australia’s largest ship Explorer of the Seas this year. We’ve invested over USD$160 million revitalising both Explorer and Voyager in the past 12 months to ensure Australians have the two newest and most feature-packed cruise ships on their doorstop.
