ROYAL CARIBBEAN’S RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS, AS
well as Radiance of the Seas which is due to
head down under shortly, will call Alaska
home for the northern hemisphere summer
of 2012.
The season will run between May and
September 2012, and will see the cruise line
also introduce 20 brand-new cruisetours,
ranging in length from 10 to 18 nights,
which incorporate both land and cruise sectors.
“Once our Australian guests have experienced
Radiance of the Seas in the Australian
summer, I’m sure they will be very keen to
follow her in Alaska during our winter
months,” said Adam Armstrong, commercial
manager, Royal Caribbean Cruises Australia.
Whilst in Alaskan waters Radiance of the
Seas will sail seven-night north- and
southbound itineraries between Vancouver
and Seward priced from $859pp; whilst
Rhapsody of the Seas will embark on a series
of seven-night cruises, roundtrip from
Seattle which are priced from $939pp.
Highlights of the program include three
Alaska cruisetours which operate in
conjunction with Radiance’s seven-night
itineraries to create 10- to 13-night
cruisetours; as well as a 12-night Resurrection
Bay & Wildlife cruisetour geared towards
nature loving families which includes an
excursion to Denali National Park.
Other highlights include an 18-night
Ultimate Cruisetour which couples the
Canadian Rockies pre-cruise with a fivenight
post-cruise escorted Alaska land tour.
