PRINCESS CRUISES MARKED ANZAC DAY WITH THE
posting of a special ‘Essential Experience’
blog, written by Osvaldo Tinacci, hotel
general manager of Dawn Princess, which
describes his experience planning a memorial
service for the ship’s visit to ANZAC Cove.
In his blog Tinacci wrote “As the choir sang
Amazing Grace I was able to take a look at
the shoreline off the side of the ship.
“I was struck by how quiet a place it is now,
so peaceful.
“I found myself contemplating the futility of
war, saddened at the number of lives lost in
this very place,” he added.
