P&O Cruises was thrust into the spotlight on
Channel Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice as
contestants took on the challenge of
promoting the cruise line’s short break cruises
via “living billboards” in Sydney.
“The motley crew at the Celebrity Apprentice
provided a great opportunity to show how
much cruising has changed in recent years,”
said Ann Sherry, CEO of Carnival Australia.
“More than half a million Australians are set
to take to the high seas for a holiday next year
and it was a heap of fun watching the
contestants find new ways to connect with
customers,” she added.
The episode which aired last week, topped the
ratings with 1.252m viewers tuning in to see
the winning team score $30,000 from P&O to
go toward their leader’s chosen charity.
