Contracts have been formally
awarded for the design of a brand
new US$65m cruise port in the
Dominican Republic.
The two-berth Amber Cove
Cruise Centre facility will be able
to serve up to 10,000 passengers
daily, will be situated on the
country’s northern coast, with
Carnival Corporation to assist
designers to develop the centre.
A transportation hub will also
feature, with plans for opening
set for the 2015 northern winter.
