CRUISE Lines International Association’s CLIA LIVE is expanding to the Gold Coast next year, its sixth Australian city.
The agent training will head to the GC on 06 and 07 May, hosted at QT Gold Coast (pictured).
The program will also include Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and Sydney, with dates now confirmed for each city.
The event will also head to Christchurch, which, including Auckland, will see CLIA travel to eight cities next year.
Tickets will be available exclusively to CLIA members from 02 Dec.
The two-day seminar format sees representatives from the world’s ocean, river and expedition cruise lines gather to explain their latest initiatives and share product developments.
The events suit both new-to-cruise advisors, as well as more experienced cruise specialists updating their knowledge.
Director of Membership & Events Marita Nosic said next year’s CLIA LIVE series will be themed ‘Connecting Travellers to their Perfect Cruise Holiday’.
“CLIA LIVE allows agents to hear from multiple cruise lines in the one place at the one time, helping them to learn more about each operator and stay up-to-date on their latest initiatives,” Nosic said.
“This year’s CLIA LIVE will give agents a deeper understanding of how to match clients with their ideal cruise, based on their personal preferences, budget and travelling style.
“It will also provide strategies for highlighting the value and unique experiences each cruise line offers, helping agents to build excitement and trust with clients,” she added.
Attendees can join one or both days, and will receive 30 CLIA points per day – CLICK HERE for full details, including dates. MS
