Passengers on the special 15-night cruise tour will be accompanied by historian and former Air Marshal Raymond George Funnell. The retired senior RAAF commander’s historical knowledge and extensive experience will provide guests with in-depth insight to the events and experiences of ANZAC soldiers during WW1.
The tour begins in Istanbul on April 13, 2015 and travels to Cappadocia, Konya and Pamukkale before flying back to Istanbul to board your ultra-modern mid-sized ship, the Louis Cristal. The cruise will visit some of the most famous and beautiful Greek and Turkish towns such as Lemnos, Izmir, Dikili and Troy before arriving at the main attraction of Gallipoli for a full day tour before the 100th year commemorative events begin.
