COSTA Pacifica has scored herself a 24-foot
gash after she hit a berthing structure called a
docking dolphin on Tuesday whilst
maneuvering in the port of Marseille.
The accident occurred during high winds,
with the gash being ripped into the ship
fortunately above the water line.
The damage was repaired overnight with the
ship’s departure from Marseille to Barcelona
only delayed by eight hours.
