Crystal CEO to host guests for luxury holiday celebrations aboard Crystal Mozart
Crystal’s popular ‘President’s Cruise’ is coming to Crystal River Cruises’ newest vessel this November, as CEO and President Edie Rodriguez joins Crystal Mozart guests on the Danube for a special Thanksgiving voyage. The voyage marks the first time the President’s Cruise will be held on any vessel other than one of the company’s award-winning ocean ships, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity – a nod to the expansion of the company’s tremendous luxury portfolio of experiences for the world’s most discerning travellers. The 10-day sailing will depart Vienna on November 22, featuring all-inclusive Crystal Adventures that highlight Germany’s and Austria’s picturesque holiday scenes and traditions.
“I am thrilled to be spending the Thanksgiving holiday with the guests aboard Crystal Mozart and exploring this beautiful region along the Danube at one of the most magical times of year,” says Rodriguez, who will be accompanied by her husband, Tom, for the traditional onboard festivities surrounding the holiday.
Travellers will be treated to lavish feasts, hosted cocktail receptions and special excursions with Crystal’s head executive on Crystal’s newest vessel. Punctuating the journey are visits to typically charming European gems that come to life with twinkling lights, traditional music and merchants of all things festive in holiday markets in and around Austria’s Wachau Valley.
An overnight stay in Linz, Austria and a double overnight stay in Vienna to conclude the voyage ensure ample time for exploring the wonderlands of the region. Other calls include Melk, Austria; Passau and Vilshofen an der Donau, Germany; and Bratislava, Slovakia. All inclusive, Crystal Mozart fares start at US$3,180 per person.
