Carnival Cruise Lines Vice President Australia Jennifer Vandekreeke said a cruise was the perfect way to enjoy the summer break.
“Cruising takes the hassle out of the holiday season, leaving families free to spend the days together without worrying about who will be doing the driving, the cooking – or the washing up!” Ms Vandekreeke said.
“Our cruises are also a perfect holiday option for extended family groups as we have a huge variety of activities onboard. Plus our interconnecting cabins are ideal for large family groups so we often have everyone from grandma to toddlers onboard, particularly during the holidays,” she said.
At Christmas, Carnival Cruise Lines’ ships feature special festive menus – including a full Christmas lunch – photos with Santa, a Christmas “door decorating” contest, along with other Christmas themed games and activities. There is also plenty for young cruisers to enjoy, with the onboard youth team preparing a number of events including a special Christmas show featuring the Captain.
New Year’s Eve is another special time with celebrations all over the ships, child-minding with special kids’ parties and a memorable countdown to the New Year in the Pacific.
