a growth spurt in the cruise industry, with
figures released from CLIA Europe revealing
that a whopping 6.139 million Europeans took
a cruise voyage in 2012.
The figure marks an two fold increase in the
numbers of European cruisers in just 8 years,
with the data also showing a 5 year annual
average European passenger growth of 8%.
CLIA’s data also revealed a boost in Northern
European cruising, with 10% increase
in the sector in 2012, compared to 2011 results.
