A PUBLIC forum to encourage
open communication between
cruise lines and the US travelling
public will be held next
month, hosted by the National
Transportation Safety Board.
The forum has been set up by
the NTSB to allow consumers to
ask questions regarding recent
incidents involving the sector.
Topics of discussion will include
recent incidents of passengers
overboard, norovirus outbreaks,
pool safety, ship design, regulatory
framework and responsibility.
Tourism leaders are expected to
attend the forum, taking place in
Washington DC from 25-26 Mar.
