affordable with the launch of three new
Antarctic itineraries (with 11 departures) by
grassroots adventure company Gecko’s.
Departing roundtrip from Ushuaia,
Argentina, between November 2012 and
February 2013, the itineraries include a 10-day
Introduction to Antarctica cruise priced from
$4,170pp, twin share; an 11-day Antarctic
Explorer from $5,096pp, twin share and a 20-
day Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica
voyage from $10,046pp, twin share.
The above prices are inclusive of Gecko’s
celebratory 25% earlybird discount for
bookings made prior to 29 February 2012.
The voyages themselves will take place
onboard Quark’s Ocean Diamond (Quark is
Gecko’s sister company), and will feature an
Expert on Board, as well as a range of
activities such as a photography program.
