Second Stage Experience Will Highlight Emerging Talent from The Recording Academy®’s 12 Chapter Cities Across the United States and Will Feature Artist Panel Discussions and Workshops

A GRAMMY(®) Chapter Stage has been added to enhance the experience of the GRAMMY Festival at Sea: Women Who Rock, a four-day music festival at sea which will set sail Nov. 4 – 8, 2014, in conjunction with Norwegian Cruise Line – the official cruise line of The Recording Academy(®) and the GRAMMY Awards(®) – and produced by Sixthman, the industry leader in music festivals at sea. The GRAMMY Chapter Stage will spotlight emerging and established talent from each of The Recording Academy’s 12 Chapter cities around the country, as well as feature panel discussions and workshops with participating artists and other music professionals. Previously announced artists for the GRAMMY Festival at Sea include Mindi Abair, Shawn Colvin, Estelle, Skylar Grey, Emmylou Harris, Heart, Indigo Girls, and Joan Osborne. Sailing from Miami aboard the beautiful Norwegian Pearl, this inaugural GRAMMY Festival at Sea will offer guests the opportunity to celebrate GRAMMY-winning and/or -nominated women who rock, while sailing to Grand Bahama Island and Nassau, Bahamas.

With no shortage of music and live performances on board, guests can also look forward to other fun activities hosted by these chart-topping ladies, as well as one-of-a-kind opportunities to interact with the artists while sailing.
Guests on the GRAMMY Festival at Sea will visit Grand Bahama Island and Nassau in the Bahamas. Known as one of the most family friendly islands in The Bahamas, Grand Bahama Island is a nature enthusiast’s dream, with several easily accessible nature-based activities. Kayaking, airboat eco-adventures, dolphin experiences, and bike tours are just a handful of the adventures waiting for guests in this Bahamian paradise. On the island of Nassau, Bahamas, guests will be guided by palm-lined streets to sandy beaches, duty-free shopping, delicious local fare, and more. This Bahamian capital is rich with history and culture and home to several museums, conservation centers, and art galleries.
In addition to all of the activities and entertainment offered aboard the GRAMMY Festival at Sea, guests will also be able to take advantage of Norwegian Pearl’s 19 dining experiences, 13 bars and lounges, outdoor pool, hot tubs, expansive spa and fitness center, and much more. Guests also are invited to visit the outdoor rock climbing wall, shoot hoops on the sports court, bowl a few frames in the ship’s bowling alley, or try their luck in the Pearl Club Casino.
