HOLLAND America Line’s (HAL) Westerdam has emerged from her dry dock with elegant upgrades and stylish new spaces.
Westerdam now features an enhanced Crow’s Nest, additional staterooms, and a number of refreshed public spaces.
The new Crow’s Nest includes a game room, coffee counter and bar, and lounge seating, as well as a newly added bandstand as its centerpiece, designed for intimate performances.
Upgraded lighting and audio systems were also added to the venue to accommodate small-scale live music, lectures, narration, and more.
New flooring throughout the Crow’s Nest gives it a fresh, modern look, creating a versatile setting where guests can enjoy the space’s relaxed atmosphere with panoramic views.
The two-week dry dock in Singapore also introduced additional Ocean View cabins, a renovated Effy Lounge, and more.
Westerdam’s (pictured) capacity has also been increased, with 11 new Ocean View staterooms added to decks 1 and 7.
The refresh included new carpeting in all Verandah staterooms on decks 5-10, as well as in Neptune, Signature, and Pinnacle suites.
Verandah staterooms on deck 8 received complete bathroom upgrades, featuring new vanities, mirrors, bathtubs, flooring, and wall finishes.
About 300 other staterooms across Westerdam were also updated with new bathroom flooring and refreshed wallpaper.
Westerdam is now sailing a 14-day Far East Discovery sailing to Hong Kong. MS
