Whale watching on their annual migration has become a passion for many people but who knew that curious whales enjoy people watching cruises of their own?
Passengers and crew onboard P&O Cruises’ Pacific Dawn — anchored at Lifou in the Loyalty Islands earlier this week — were delighted to be checked out by two very curious humpback whales.
The two whales cruised together parallel with the stationary superliner giving passengers a wonderful opportunity to see them on their annual migration.
It is not unusual for whales to visit the Loyalty Islands at this time of year but for many of Pacific Dawn’s guests it was a unique and inspiring experience.
And the guests are probably wondering what the two whales made of their people watching cruise experience.
