| Keel laid for new P&O vessel

P&O CRUISES managing director Carol
Marlow has given the order for the keel to be
laid on a new 141,000 tonne vessel to begin
construction at Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard.
The currently un-named vessel will combine
favourite features of its Oriana, Aurora, Azure
and Ventura ships, alongside a number of
unannounced developments, with the finished
ship scheduled to enter service in 2015.
