AMBASSADOR Cruise Line’s new Ambition’s marquee restaurant ‘Lupino’ (pictured) will take pride of place on the ship, as it honours a departed colleague.
Ambition will welcome guests on board her maiden voyage on 12 May, offering them the chance to be among the first to enjoy a meal in a restaurant that pays homage to Michelle Lupino, a valued Ambassador colleague who passed away following a short illness in Oct.
The restaurant honours its namesake’s memory by creating an onboard dining experience for guests, which recognises her Italian heritage, and her vibrant, inclusive, and warm-hearted qualities.
“I was very close to Michelle, and news of her passing affected me deeply,” Head of Guest Experience Bob McGowan affirmed.
“When I was asked by the business to help create a place on our new ship to honour her memory, I wanted it to be a celebration of her life and the many things that made her so special, including her love of socialising with friends.
“She was the life and soul of any party or gathering and would always make people feel welcome.”
