A US man has pled guilty to “attempting to
damage, destroy or disable apparatus or any
material used or intended to be used in connection
with the loading or unloading of any vessel”.
The man landed in legal hot water after
releasing a stern anchor onboard ms Ryndam
in November 2010, and is now facing fines of
$250,000 and up to 20 years in prison.
