MSC Divina has completed her sea trials with
flying colours after a gruelling three days at sea
where she underwent over 60 separate tests
covering everything from speed and
manageability to sound levels and vibration.
Testing is set to continue in dock right up
until her flag exchange ceremony in Saint-
Nazaire on 19 May, which is a week prior to
her christening event in Marseille on 26 May.
Divina, the 12th vessel in MSC’s fleet, is the
third member of the cruise line’s Fantasia class.
Her six-night debut cruise will sail from
Marseille to Venice, calling at Civitavecchia,
Messina, Valletta and Dubrovnik; and will be
followed by a series of seven-night East
Mediterranean cruises, priced from $939pp/ts.
