Royal Caribbean has today announced that one of Australia’s hottest singer/songwriters, Nathaniel Willemse will get the party started at the very first Facebook Party at Sea on 8th December, onboard the virtually new Voyager of the Seas. The Live Louder and You singer is set to perform exclusively for 100 lucky Royal Caribbean Facebook fans who won the prized spot onboard by voting for their favourite summer party tune.
Almost 6,000 fans voted for their favourite summer party song to try and win the money-can’t-buy one-night experience on the newly revitalised Voyager of the Seas. So along with his latest chart-topping hits Nathaniel will perform the fan-favourite party song Happy by Pharrell Williams on the night. He will also be supported by this year’s X Factor finalist and fan favourite, Reigan Derry.

This is my first time performing onboard a cruise ship so the atmosphere is going to be electric. I’m looking forward to putting on a show that is as incredible as the venue,” said Nathaniel.
According to Sean Treacy, Commercial Director, Royal Caribbean International, the Voyager of the Seas Party at Sea was organised to reward its loyal fans and celebrate the maiden arrival of the ship after its multimillion dollar revitalisation.
“We’re so excited to let the cat out the bag and reveal to our Facebook competition winners that not only will they be spending one-night onboard the brand new Voyager of the Seas, they will also be treated to the exclusive concert with Nathaniel and Reigan who will truly get the party started. Some of our wonderful Royal Caribbean fans have supported the brand since we based our first ship in Australia in 2007 so it’s great to give back. Not only will they have the chance to experience all the new activities and features on the biggest cruise ship based in Australia, they will also be entertained by two of Australia’s biggest names in music this year – it will definitely be a memorable night for everyone,” said Sean.
Voyager of the Seas arrives home to Sydney, fresh from a month long multimillion dollar revitalisation and packed to the brim with new and exciting features that epitomise a Royal Caribbean cruise. Australia’s first surf rider at sea, the FlowRider, has been added along with a 3D cinema, three new signature Royal Caribbean speciality dining restaurants, an outdoor poolside movie screen and Australia’s first virtual balcony staterooms which show real time views of the ship’s surrounding in interior staterooms. Australia’s largest superliner also still sports her signature, only on Royal Caribbean features including an ice-skating rink, the rock-climbing wall, full size basketball court, the Royal Promenade – an indoor street with shops, bars and restaurants – and of course the DreamWorks experience where Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and other favourite characters surprise guests of all ages.
