Oceania Cruises is to offer food,
wine and music cruises for the
first time.
NEW for 2012, the ‘Signature Sailings’
include 10 voyages exploring
culinary, wine, music and health
themes, with seminars, handson
classes and special events.
Oceania’s executive culinary
director, Master Chef Jacques
Pépin, will lead the 10-day
‘Tuscan Artistry’ cruise from
Barcelona to Rome, aboard
Marina in May.
In the same month,
‘Mediterranean Tapestry’ on
the 684-passenger Nautica will
see six jazz musicians perform
stage shows and jam sessions,
sailing from Athens to Barcelona.
An Italian wine immersion on Regatta in July
includes lectures, tastings and wine bar
experiences featuring guest experts and live
music.
Two wellness sailings will offer spin, yoga
and pilates classes, Canyon Ranch spa cuisine,
and healthy eating and fitness tips:
‘Pearls of the Aegean’ departs Venice in
August and ‘Accent on Italy’ departs in
October next year.
Oceania Cruises’ President Bruce Himelstein
will host a 10-day voyage through the Med in
October, and two reunion cruises for past
passengers will take place in Europe and
South America.
