Perth Flight Centre agent Katie Luxa was recently named as one of the winner’s of P&O Cruises’ ship naming competition.
The Canning Vale resident suggested Aria, which was announced alongside Eden as the names of the cruise line’s latest ships following a two-week Facebook competition.
When P&O Cruises Business Development Manager WA Jess O’Brien visited Katie at Livingston Flight Centre to congratulate her on the naming honour, she told her she hopes to
see Pacific Aria cruising from Fremantle one day.
Pacific Eden and Pacific Aria will debut in Australia in November next year taking the cruise line’s fleet to a record five ships sailing year-round from Australia and New Zealand. The ships’ itineraries and home-porting arrangements will be announced in the coming weeks.
