P&O Cruises Australia has launched an ‘Upgrade Me’ Program, which will allow guests to bid for an upgrade.
Passengers will have the opportunity to access Oceanview Rooms, Balcony Rooms, Mini-Suites, Suites, and Penthouse Rooms through Upgrade Me.
When bidding on an upgrade, guests will also be bidding for any complimentary perks which may come with the new room, such as access to the exclusive Byron Beach Club for selected suites.
Guests with eligible bookings will receive an invitation to submit bids on any room type above what they have booked, up to three days before the departure date.
Bids are priced per person and based on two people per room, with only the first two guests in the room being charged, even if more are sailing.
A future cruise credit may also be used as payment.
President Marguerite Fitzgerald said P&O Australia is continually working hard to provide its guests with ways to personalise their cruise experience and make it a truly memorable holiday.
“There’s so much anticipation that comes with counting down the days to your holiday…the closer that day comes, we know that people start looking for those extras that will make their experience even more special, and this is a great value way of doing just that,” she enthused.
“The added benefits that come with certain room upgrades are guaranteed to make any trip unforgettable.”
