The P&O fleet is preparing to commemorate Anzac Day tomorrow with a special program of activities.
Pacific Dawn and Pacific Pearl will start with a dawn service at sea, while Pacific Jewel will be alongside in Vila.
The onboard services will culminate in the sounding of the Last Post, the traditional minute’s silence and then the casting of a wreath onto the ocean.
Passengers who are past or current Defence personnel have been invited to participate in the organisation and conduct of the events to remember the contribution of Navy, Army and Air Force members.
Other activities include the screening of the movie Gallipoli, games of ‘two up’ and a deck party featuring songs by Australian and New Zealand artists.
Australian and New Zealand flags will also decorate the main dining rooms, and Anzac biscuits will be available all day along with a commemorative cake display.
