P&O Cruises is offering six Bachelor of
Commerce Hotel Management students from
the University of the South Pacific year-long
internships onboard its fleet next year.
The internships are the result of a partnership
between the cruise line and the university, and
are part of P&O Cruises’ pledge to ensure
Pacific Island communities share the economic
benefits of the surge in cruising to the region.
“P&O Cruises is one of the leading employers
in the South Pacific, and aims to have 10 per
cent of all onboard staff drawn from the Pacific
Islands,” the cruise line said.
