FEAR not, it’s fake!
Those cruisers who are planning on taking
a cruise around NZ this current wave season,
should be aware that if they see a body
bobbing in the water, all may not be as it
seems.
Police in Wellington were alerted last
week to the fact that a fake dead body may
pop up in the ocean or around NZ’s beaches,
after a film company managed to misplace
one of their corpses during a film shoot.
The film crew were shooting late one
night in Houghton Bay (a southern suburb
of Wellington) when they think the fake
corpse slipped into the sea, and after a
search failed to turn up the human-like lunk
of plastic, they were forced to warn
authorities that a ‘fake dead body’ may
cross their radar in the near future.
Police have confirmed that they will not
be searching for the corpse.
