ROYAL CARIBBEAN
International’s Radiance
of the Seas is pictured at
right entering the
Victoria Shipyards in
British Columbia
overnight.
She’s getting ready for
some big changes, with
a refurbishment in the
lead-up to her
deployment in
Australasian waters later
this year.
22 days in dry dock
will see Radiance fitted
with five new eateries
which Aussie cruisers
will enjoy, including a
Samba Grill, Giovanni’s Table, Park Cafe,
Boardwalk Dog House and Izumi.
The other big news for Radiance is that
she will become the first Royal Caribbean
vessel to feature single occupancy cabins –
ideal for solo travellers who would
otherwise have to pay a single supplement.
Pricing for the single cabins are yet to be
confirmed, but are expected to be very
affordable, according to Royal Caribbean
spokesman Adam Armstrong.

features which will be offered by Radiance
