Royal Caribbean is helping families plan their dream getaway for less, offering kids’ cruise fares from just AU$29/NZ$39 a day, plus up to 30% off for mum and dad with the launch of the Annual Family Sale.
Available to book until 9 April 2018, the Annual Family Sale is applicable to all local sailings departing Australia between September 2018 and April 2019.
“We know how precious family holiday time is. It‘s essential to find the perfect holiday option that offers the right balance of activities and down-time for the whole family. That’s what makes a cruise on Royal Caribbean’s incredible range of three Australia-based megaliners the ultimate holiday destination,” said Adam Armstrong, managing director, Royal Caribbean Australia & NZ.
With three of the country’s largest and most feature-packed megaliners sailing down under in 2018/19, including Ovation of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas, families can rest easy knowing more is included in their cruise fare as standard. From accommodation, main meals, entertainment and activities, such as the FlowRider, ice skating rink, iFly and circus school, to the line’s award-winning kids club, Adventure Ocean, there is plenty of complimentary action on offer to keep the whole family entertained.
For kids aged 3 to 11, Adventure Ocean offers a range of fun, age appropriate activities until 10pm each night. Aquanauts (3-5 years) get to conduct experiments and become Certified Junior Adventure Scientists while Explorers (6-8 years) have their own themed parties. Meanwhile Voyagers (9-11 years) get to explore a range of activities that incorporate fun times, free time and learning – all under expert supervision and included in the fare.
Dining with kids can be stressful, which is why Royal Caribbean offers My Family Time Dining for children aged 3-11. Kids get to order and receive their meals straight away, then Adventure Ocean staff come and collect them, so parents can enjoy the rest of their meal at a more leisurely pace.
Teenagers can hang out with new friends in their own spaces too, with the freedom to come and go as they please to dedicated lounges and nightclubs, with activities like karaoke, wii games and pool parties on offer.
Plus, both Ovation of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas feature nurseries onboard for the very little ones (6-36 months), where trained professionals care for babies and toddlers in small-groups – also included in the fare.
Prices start at AUD$1,689/NZD$1,859 per person for adults and from AUD$169/NZD$189 each for kids on an 8-night South Pacific cruise on Ovation of the Seas, based on quad-share accommodation. The roundtrip cruise departs Sydney on 9 April 2019 and calls at Noumea in New Caledonia and Mystery Island in Vanuatu.
