the day, Celebrity Solstice slipped into Darwin’s
Fort Hill Wharf at 7am on Friday morning,
heralding the commencement of her 2012/13
Australian summer season.
Measuring a whopping 16-storeys in height,
and boasting 10 restaurants, 15 bars (including
a martini bar), a real grass lawn, and capacity
for 2,850-guests Solstice is the largest ever
vessel to call Australia home.
Whilst in regional waters Solstice will depart
on 17 sailings ranging in length from one- to
35-nights, including an 18-night ‘Round
Australia’ cruise.
