Tall ship sailing specialist Star Clippers has announced the addition of two new yoga-themed departures for the 2015 Caribbean season with special prices until the end of October 2014.
Yoga teacher, author and life coach Inge Schöps will join two sailings on Star Clipper from St Maarten, 24th and 31st January, 2015, offering two daily complimentary yoga and meditation classes on board. All classes take place on deck in the fresh air, early morning and just before sunset. Inge will also deliver lectures on the philosophy of yoga and advice for practice at home.
Inge is based in Cologne, where she teaches, but also runs sought-after yoga retreats in the Mediterranean, specifically on the islands of Mallorca and Formentera, as well as publishing yoga apps and e-books. All her classes and talks will be conducted in English.
These two Caribbean departures are in addition to Star Clippers existing schedule of yoga-themed cruises, which include the autumn 2014 transatlantic crossing of the line’s flagship, the 227-passenger Royal Clipper, and a Balearics voyage on Star Flyer from Palma departing August 2, 2015.
For those who want to follow a healthy or vegetarian diet during any of the yoga cruises, Star Clippers usual sumptuous breakfast buffets, piled with fresh, seasonal fruits, and magnificent arrays of salads at lunchtime will be available, as well as vegetarian choices at dinner.
The seven night yoga cruises on Star Clipper from St Maarten, 24th and 31st January, 2015 start from AUD$2550 per person twin share (regular price is AUD$2910), incl. the port charges (based on cat. 6 lead in, upgrades are available at additional cost – and flights are extra).
