SWAN Hellenic has unveiled 2026-2027 Raja Ampat diving expeditions for scuba enthusiasts.
The program will be available on four of Swan Hellenic’s East Asia voyages exploring Raja Ampat aboard Minerva, with diving enthusiasts holding a PADI advanced open water certification able to have a choice of two sailings this year and a further two in 2027.
Each 10- and 11-day voyage offers five to six dives on custom adventure dive boats, accompanied by expert dive masters and an exclusive concierge service.
Equipment will be provided, including masks, fins, snorkels, wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, weights, and tanks.
Programs are organised with private boats that take the divers directly from the ship to world-class diving sites.
Excursion are tailored to suit individual preferences and include full or half-days starting from USD$250 for a single dive.
All permits will also be organised, so divers only need to provide their own dive computers, as well as travel, medical, and dive insurance.
Guests are offered accessible, fully-inclusive snorkeling expeditions, which provide a variety of experiences, such as swimming with whale sharks in Teluk Cenderawasih.
The first voyage in the series is ‘Secrets of the Coral Triangle: West Papua and Raja Ampat’, which departs from Sorong, running from 18 Apr-28 Apr, visiting the Coral Triangle.
Pax will be able to explore the vibrant waters of Cenderawasih Bay, swim with whale sharks near Kwatisore, and take in the limestone wonders of Misool.
Along the way, passengers will encounter missionary history and World War II remains, and will be welcomed by the island communities they visit.
The six dives offered include Kabui Bay, Pulau Kri, Pulau Fam, and Pulau Mansuar: a haven of coral ledges for yellowtail and bluestripe snappers, wobbegongs, and seahorses.
Divers will also visit notable spots such as Blue Magic, Mayhem Reef, Cape Kri, and Galaxy Reef, famous for Yenbuba Jetty and its barracudas.
Following this will be the ‘Heart of the Pacific Isles’, an 11-night voyage across the Coral Triangle, travelling from Sorong to Manila beginning 09 May – CLICK HERE.
